Every year it's easy to get sucked into the commercial game of Christmas Card Tag. We know this is a way for many Businesses to "touch base" with customers they don't speak to for the rest of the year, but on the basis that we speak to all our Customers and Friends on a very regular basis, we decided to buck the trend for the 2nd year running and not send you all a card...

Furthermore, we don't want one back either!

What we have done instead is send the money we would have spent on Christmas Cards to the amazing Northwest based charity, Children Today, instead.

Children Today was founded in 1994 to help disabled children and young people up to the age of 25 enjoy a better quality of life by providing them with the specialised equipment they need. The charity relies totally on voluntary contributions with no governement funding.

Each piece of equipment is gifted to the child concerned, it is not a loan, and it is owned by the child, not their parents or guardians.  Our children love that, and they are very proud of their new independence and abilities.  They provide ongoing support and the children can come back for further funding as their needs develop or they outgrow their equipment.

The value of Christmas Cards may be negligible but the value of improving a child's life is not.
